Beginning of the year activities

 We Love Deanna Jump!! We got the idea for this glyph from her blog.  She has a lot of wonderful ideas!

On the first day of school we have the students draw a self portrait and they make their name with confetti or torn paper. This activity allows you to assess multiple skills, like sorting confetti by colors and using glue. Plus this activity usually takes a little bit of time which allows you to sort school supplies and get organized with all of the beginning of the year craziness.

Yay!! We have a Blog!!!

After a year of wanting to start a blog together, it finally happened!!  We can't wait to start sharing our ideas and experiences with everyone.
